Tom Kaminski, CFP®

Tom Kaminski is the host of The Sandwich Bread Pod and the founder of Twin Robins, a firm he created after more than 17 years in the personal finance industry. He began his career in 2007 on a trade desk with a national brokerage firm and later supported independent Registered Investment Advisor clients, which shaped his commitment to fiduciary, client centered planning.

Tom lives in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City with his wife and two daughters, and his own experiences with family, career decisions and financial transitions inform the empathy he brings to his work. He holds the CRPC® and CFP® designations and remains committed to ongoing learning. Twin Robins was built with intention for both clients and family, and that same purpose inspired The Sandwich Bread Pod, a space for real conversations about the pressures and decisions facing the Sandwich Generation.

Danielle has been a financial planner since 2006 and has helped hundreds of individuals and families reach their financial goals. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Certified Financial Behavior Specialist, and Master Planner Advanced Studies designations. She received the New Professional Award from the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, an honor given to only a few advisors nationwide. Her writing has appeared on Forbes, Yahoo Finance, MSN Money, Investopedia, and Nasdaq, and she has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger, and Financial Planning magazine.

Danielle served on NAPFA’s Board of Directors and is President of the Board of Trustees for its pro bono foundation. She also created a financial wellness group for individuals transitioning out of homelessness and participates in free financial planning events to help broaden access to objective advice.

Maureen Lester

Maureen found her passion for elder law through her family’s long-term care journey with her grandparents. Since graduating from UMKC School of Law in 2014, she has dedicated her legal career to advocating for older adults and individuals with disabilities. She spent seven years in private practice and several years as a Special Needs Trust administrator, experiences she now brings to her elder law, Medicaid planning, and special needs planning work at Complete Estate & Probate Law.

Maureen is licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri and is actively involved in the elder law community. She volunteers with the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), participates in the Association of Women Lawyers, and serves as an adjunct professor at UMKC School of Law. She has been named a SuperLawyers Rising Star four times.

In her free time, Maureen enjoys being outdoors with her husband and two children.
